How course purchases, checkout information and website visit statistics are handled. ## Who handles your information HANSDIVISIONGROUP PTY LTD trading as Aegentra operates this UK website and arranges the purchases. Contact contact@aegentra.co.uk for privacy questions, or academy@aegentra.co.uk for an order or learner correction. ## Information needed for a purchase We collect the purchase email, learner email addresses, course, format, quantity, optional Labs selection, accepted terms and access choices, order reference and payment status. Stripe collects payment and billing information on its hosted payment page. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code. Please do not enter passwords or confidential client information. ## Why we use it We use purchase and learner information to take steps you request before a contract, administer the purchase, arrange PECB access, supply the selected Labs access, send transactional messages, respond to support requests and handle cancellations or refunds. We retain relevant financial records to meet legal obligations. We use proportionate security and anti-abuse records for the legitimate interests of protecting payments and access. Agreeing to purchase terms is not consent to marketing. ## Providers and recipients Stripe processes payment and invoice information. Vercel hosts the website and payment endpoints. The Aegentra Labs order service and its database retain the verified order and assign optional matching-exam access. Resend sends order emails, which are also handled by the recipient’s mail provider. Our Academy team uses the learner details to arrange the official course through PECB. Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. provides the website visit statistics described below. Access is limited to the people and providers needed for these purposes; buying a course does not enrol you in a marketing list. ## Website visit statistics We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits to this website in aggregate. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. When a page loads, it receives the page address and title, the referring page, your browser’s user agent (from which the browser, operating system and device type are derived), language settings and screen size, and it records page views, link clicks and form submissions by the address of the link or form, not the information you enter. Ahrefs derives an approximate location, no more precise than country and city, from your IP address and states that it discards the raw IP address without storing it. To count unique visitors it uses a pseudonymous identifier that changes every 24 hours, so visits cannot be linked across days or devices. On the order confirmation page, the payment session reference is removed from the address before it is sent. We use these statistics for our legitimate interests in understanding which pages are used and improving the website; we do not use them for advertising or to identify you. ## International handling Aegentra is an Australian business, and its providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. A UK domain does not mean that all processing occurs in the UK. Contact us for information about the arrangements and applicable safeguards for your data. This notice does not assert that every provider stores information in the UK. ## Retention and protection We keep information for the period needed to fulfil and support the purchase, administer access and refunds, meet applicable accounting and legal obligations and resolve disputes. The required period depends on the record and purpose; not every record is retained for the same period. Checkout abuse controls use short-lived counters with hashed network identifiers instead of passing raw network addresses to the order service. Hosting and payment providers may separately retain security logs. ## Your choices and rights You may request access to or correction of your personal information and, where applicable, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. Some records must remain for legal or contractual reasons. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. You may raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Contact us first if you would like us to investigate. ## Browser storage The site remembers a chosen light/dark theme locally. Checkout temporarily stores a random request identifier in session storage to retrieve a minimal payment status after Stripe redirects back. It is not a card number or an advertising identifier. This checkout does not add advertising or marketing tracking; checkout pages are counted only in the aggregate website visit statistics described above, which use no cookies or browser storage. Stripe and other sites reached through links have their own storage and privacy information. ## Buying for another learner Provide another person’s details only with appropriate authority and tell them about this notice. Check their email carefully before paying. Course assignment and optional Labs access use the learner email, which may differ from the buyer’s purchase email.
