The exam and credential
Credential eligibility and the certification decision are assessed by PECB. Training does not certify your organisation.
PECB credential ladder: Provisional Auditor (no experience) → Auditor (2 years, 1 in privacy management, 200 audit hours) → Lead Auditor (5 years, 2 in privacy management, 300 audit hours) → Senior Lead Auditor (10 years, 7 in privacy management, 1,000 audit hours). Above these sits PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27701 Master, which requires 20 years of professional experience with 10 in a leadership role, 5,000 hours of combined audit and project activity, and passing both the ISO/IEC 27701 and Lead Auditor exams. All tiers require signing the PECB Code of Ethics. Provisional credentials are exempt from maintenance; other tiers follow the applicable CPD and fee requirements.
From knowledge to a working decision
Draw the processing flow, identify organisational roles and record unanswered questions about access, retention and supplier responsibilities.
For an audit-focused route, write a criterion, evidence request, possible finding and limitation; do not reach a conclusion without the necessary evidence.

The bundle includes the application fee and first-year maintenance where applicable. Foundation certificates have no annual maintenance fee. Credential eligibility and ongoing requirements vary; PECB makes the award decision.

No. It is the material-access period, not a scheduled course duration or a promise of unlimited instructor support. The listed bundles are self-paced. Curriculum day labels describe a learning sequence; they are not booked live classroom dates.
Confirm the exact course edition and current PECB syllabus before enrolment, especially where a standard is being revised. Publication of a newer standard does not automatically update a training bundle or include a transition course. Confirm the course edition with the Academy before payment.
