    Modules describe the learning sequence. Day labels in the official curriculum do not mean scheduled live classes.

    Day 1 — ISO 27001 and ISMS audit fundamentals
    • Review the purpose and structure of an ISMS, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 requirements and the relationship between risk treatment and the Statement of Applicability. Introduce audit terminology, professional responsibilities and the different purposes of internal, supplier and certification audits.
    Day 2 — Audit principles, preparation and initiation
    • Explore audit principles, professional behaviour and audit-programme management. Define objectives, scope and criteria, review documented information and select appropriate methods and resources. Prepare an audit plan, working papers and questions that support a focused evidence-gathering process.
    Day 3 — Conducting the audit
    • Work through the opening meeting, communication, interviews, observation and evidence collection. Evaluate the relevance and sufficiency of a sample, trace evidence to the criteria and develop potential findings. Consider how remote and onsite methods affect the audit approach.
    Day 4 — Closing the audit and following up
    • Evaluate conformity, write clear nonconformities and prepare the audit report. Practise presenting conclusions at a closing meeting, reviewing corrective-action plans and following up on their effectiveness. Consider audit records, team responsibilities, ethics and continuing competence.
    Day 5 — PECB certification examination
    • The official agenda ends with the PECB examination. The current English assessment lasts three hours and covers seven competency domains. For private and self-paced delivery, confirm the examination booking separately from your teaching or study timetable.

    After passing, you may apply for the eligible Auditor credential tier; PECB validates the application and experience requirements. Non-Provisional credentials are valid for three years. Current three-year CPD requirements are 60 hours for Auditor, 90 for Lead Auditor and 180 for Senior Lead Auditor, plus the applicable annual maintenance fee and the PECB Code of Ethics. Provisional credentials are exempt from CPD and annual maintenance fees.

    Is the official PECB exam included?

    Yes. Each listed bundle includes the official examination voucher: an initial attempt and one free retake if needed. Complete the exam, included retake and application within 12 months of purchase. The first retake requires at least 15 days after an unsuccessful attempt. PECB reviews eligibility before awarding a credential; buying a bundle does not guarantee certification.

    What is the difference between Self-Study and eLearning?

    Self-Study provides official slides for independent study. eLearning adds recorded PECB video lectures. Only the formats shown above are offered for this course.

    Does this include a certification fee?

    The bundle includes the application fee and first-year maintenance where applicable. Foundation certificates have no annual maintenance fee. Credential eligibility and ongoing requirements vary; PECB makes the award decision.

    Can I purchase online?

    How does this PECB bundle compare with other UK training offers?

    Compare the exact awarding body and credential, curriculum, delivery format, exam inclusion, retake conditions, access period and eligibility. Similar course titles do not establish equivalence to another provider or scheme. These are PECB bundles; no CQI and IRCA, IAPP, EC-Council or Linux Foundation credential is implied.

    Does 12-month access mean 12 months of teaching?

    No. It is the material-access period, not a scheduled course duration or a promise of unlimited instructor support. The listed bundles are self-paced. Curriculum day labels describe a learning sequence; they are not booked live classroom dates.

    Which standard edition or syllabus should I check?

    Confirm the exact course edition and current PECB syllabus before enrolment, especially where a standard is being revised. Publication of a newer standard does not automatically update a training bundle or include a transition course. Confirm the course edition with the Academy before payment.
